2 7-Elevens Robbed At Gunpoint In San Diego County

The three male suspects were all armed with handguns, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Two 7-Elevens were robbed at gunpoint over the weekend in San Diego County.

The first robbery happened at 3:55 a.m. Saturday at the 7-Eleven at 4080 Convoy St. in San Diego, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Police said the three male suspects, who were all armed with handguns, fled the store in a black four-door sedan. The store clerk described the suspects as short and thin with medium complexions.

About a half hour later, three suspects who matched the same description robbed a 7-Eleven in Encinitas, police said. They were armed with handguns and fled north in a black four-door sedan.

No injuries were immediately reported.

Police were investigating the robberies. The suspects remained at large.
