Authorities Investigate Report Of Black's Beach Sea Bluff Collapse
There are no immediate reports of injuries due to the collapse that occurred around 2:45 p.m.
SAN DIEGO — Authorities are investigating a sea-bluff collapse at Black's Beach in the Torrey Pines area of northern San Diego, according to fire department officials.
With arguably some of San Diego’s best waves and loved by surfers, Black’s Beach, at the southern end of Torrey Pines State Beach and north of La Jolla Shores, is known by many as San Diego's nude beach.
There are no reports of injuries due to the collapse that occurred around 2:45 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20, according to the San Diego Fire Department.

"The La Jolla Trail, located above Black’s Beach, is closed," SDFD said in a Twitter Post asking residents and visitors to avoid the area.
