Average SD County Gas Price Drops For 14th Time in 15 Days: AAA
The average price has dropped 22.6 cents over the past 15 days, including 1.1 cents Tuesday.
SAN DIEGO, CA - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regulargasoline in San Diego County dropped today for the 14th time in 15 days,decreasing 1.9 cents to $5.792. The average price has dropped 22.6 cents over the past 15 days,including 1.1 cents Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil PriceInformation Service. It dropped 12 consecutive days, was unchanged Monday andresumed dropping Tuesday.
The run of dropping prices follows a 35-day streak of increasestotaling $1.274 that pushed the average price to a record $6.018 March 29.
The average price is 10.1 cents less than one week ago but 2.9 centsmore than one month ago and $1.811 higher than one year ago.
