SAN DIEGO, CA — A great horned owl was reunited with its family in San Diego after being rescued during the recent storm.

A community member brought the young owl to San Diego Humane Society's Bahde Wildlife Center Wednesday, after finding it on the ground in the rain.

Following a thorough examination, the veterinary team at Project Wildlife determined the owl had no injuries and reunited it with its family in a tree in Bay Park.
