- Senate Bill 31 would allow the clearing of encampments near schools, libraries, daycare centers, and parks after providing 72-hours notice to homeless persons. Officers would be required to provide information about alternatives available. Senate Brian Jones, Republican — San Diego County, and Senator Bill Dodd, Democrat — Napa, coauthored the bill which will go before the Senate Public Safety Committee on March 28. (Times of San Diego)
- Through Second Chance, more than 10,000 people have been helped to rejoin the community, and the workforce. The San Diego nonprofit helps people get back on a path toward self-sufficiency after incarceration. Right now, there are 250 active participants in the four-week program. Hosting a fundraiser at the Air and Space Museum in Balboa Park, Second Chance will celebrate their 30th anniversary on April 27. (NBC San Diego)

Suspects: 👥 2-4 people 👕 Hoodies, long pants, gloves, face coverings 🚙 Dark Audi Audi Q5 SUV." (San Diego Police Department via Facebook)
- Mellow lovebug: "This sweet senior is a rising star! But don't worry, being on the news with Megan Parry 10News hasn't given Lenny a big head, nor has the endless praise he's received for being such a good boy! This mellow lovebug is ready to bring his aged-to-perfection charm to your home! What do you say? Adopt Lenny today. (ID 851477)" (San Diego Humane Society via Facebook)
- Still filling potholes: "Finally, the sun is shining, and our crews are back out filling potholes on San Diego streets! According to @NWSSanDiego, we've received 13 inches of rain since October 2022. That's 35% more than a typical rainy season, and we still have about a month to go. When it rains, our street crews are not able to fill potholes or conduct other road maintenance like slurry seal. And, unfortunately, the wet weather exacerbates the situation, as water seeps into the surface of the street, causing the asphalt to loosen and potholes to develop." (City of San Diego via Facebook)
- No-cost food distribution: "Here is a list of some of the no-cost food distributions happening this Saturday throughout San Diego County. For a full list of sites, visit https://bit.ly/3RsyaLQ." (Feeding San Diego via Facebook)
- Women's Motor Corp: "Celebrating #WomensHistoryMonth Photo Collections - Woman from Women's Motor Corp writing parking ticket in about 1918. Get this historical photo by visiting https://cutt.ly/q8mfiij" (San Diego History Center via Facebook)
- Needed: gently used towels, blankets, sheets: "Give your old linens a new leash on life! If you're spring cleaning and find gently used towels, blankets or sheets you're ready to rehome, please donate them to help animals in need. Bedding supplies are low at our Oceanside Campus." (San Diego Humane Society via Facebook)
