Fatality After Traffic Collision On I-8, CHP Reports
A person died in a traffic collision on westbound Interstate 8, the California Highway Patrol reported.
EL CAJON, CA — A person died Thursday in a traffic collision on westbound Interstate 8, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision happened at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday, according to a CHP online log. Someone said they saw a cloud of dust in the center divider at Pine Valley Bridge and a fire started.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office arrived on scene at 12:31 a.m. Thursday, the CHP log stated.
