Fire Damages Storage Facility In Lakeside

LAKESIDE, CA — Fire damaged over a dozen storage facility units in the east part of San Diego County Wednesday, authorities said.

Crews responded around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to 12202 Woodside Ave. at StaxUP Storage in Lakeside, near the intersection of Lakeside Avenue and state Route 67, according to the Lakeside Fire Department.

Fire officials said the blaze spread to 15 units. The cause of the fire was under investigation.

No injuries were immediately reported, and the amount of property damage done was unclear.
