First 10K Holiday Bowl Attendees To Receive Free SeaWorld Tickets

SAN DIEGO, CA — The first 10,000 fans through the Snapdragon Stadium gates at the 2025 Holiday Bowl will receive one-day SeaWorld admission tickets, organizers announced Tuesday.

The Jan. 2 game will feature a matchup between a top team from the Atlantic Coast Conference and a current or former member of the Pac-12. The game kicks off at 5 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports.

"We are so grateful to SeaWorld San Diego, partners of the nonprofit bowl game effort for decades," said Mark Neville, CEO of Sports San Diego, the producers of the Holiday Bowl. "In what already is a premium fan event, this year's Holiday Bowl fan experience was just made even better thanks to our friends at SeaWorld."

SeaWorld has partnered with the Holiday Bowl for more than 35 years. This is the fourth year in a row the theme park is offering tickets to bowl game fans.

"We value our longstanding partnership with the Holiday Bowl and are excited to be included in multiple events throughout bowl week," said Tyler Carter, president of SeaWorld San Diego. "With so many exciting events to start the year, adding SeaWorld to the itinerary is a must for fans traveling from out of town, or those local to the area who are excited to see the game at Snapdragon Stadium."

The theme park will join Holiday Bowl festivities, including the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl parade on game day morning, featuring a giant inflatable shark to promote its Shark Encounter experience opening in spring 2026. SeaWorld will also host the annual Bowl Bash for the first time and host the football teams on New Year's Eve.

SeaWorld tickets will be distributed at each of the three main entrances at Snapdragon Stadium. Gates open at 3 p.m.

Tickets will be limited to one per person, on a first-come, first-served basis, and while supplies last. Admission is valid through Jan. 31, 2026.
