Girl Suffers Major Injury In Vehicle Collision In San Diego
Police officials said the girl suffered a fractured right femur.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was struck by a teen driver while riding an electric motorcycle in the Black Mountain Ranch neighborhood of San Diego, authorities said Monday.
The crash occurred at around 9:20 p.m. Sunday when the 16-year-old male behind the wheel of a northbound Toyota pickup truck made a left turn and struck the girl who was traveling southbound on Babcock Street at Paseo Del.
Both vehicles were facing circular-green signal lights at the time, but the driver of the pickup allegedly "violated" the girl's right of way, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Police officials said the girl suffered a fractured right femur. Driving while under the influence was not suspected, the department stated.
