Human Remains Found At San Diego Home
Investigators searched the property and found human remains in the yard of the Southcrest home.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A multi-agency investigation was underway Tuesday after human remains were discovered in the yard of a San Diego home.
San Diego Police Cold Case/Missing Persons investigators and the San Diego County District Attorney's Office assisted the California Highway Patrol and FBI in serving a search warrant Tuesday at 3443 Newton Avenue in San Diego, according to the San Diego Police Department.
CHP investigators had developed information that led them to believe human remains were on the property. Investigators searched the property and found human remains in the yard of the Southcrest home.

Detectives were working with the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office to identify the remains and determine a cause of death.
