- Maybe you’ve heard about a California ‘inflation relief’ program. You are probably wondering if you will qualify for an inflation relief check. - Gov. Gavin Newsom signed AB 2571 into law banning the marketing of guns to kids. Promotion of firearms to those under 18 years old may now lead to fines of $25K per incident. Gun rights groups say that marketing guns to California's kids is a right guaranteed by the First Amendment. They are suing to overturn the ban. - Thanks to K-9 Milo and San Diego Police, 5,000 pounds of methamphetamines were seized in San Diego. "This is a significant accomplishment by our law enforcement partners," said U.S. Attorney Randy Grossman. "Due to stellar work by law enforcement agents, the government stopped more than 5,000 pounds of methamphetamine from being distributed on our streets."
