Jack In The Box, Snoop Dogg Unveil 'Munchie Meal' For Potheads

The late-night meal will cost customers $4.20 — get it? — and comes as recreational marijuana becomes legal in California

SAN DIEGO, CA -- California-based fast-food chain Jack in the Box and rapper Snoop Dogg are partnering up to offer the "Munchie Meal," a meal targeted to stoners as the state welcomes the legalization of marijuana. Fortune magazine on Tuesday reported the meal will cost $4.20, a code widely used to indicate weed.

"The move may be the most high-profile move yet by a major corporation to explicitly peg a marketing push to the spread of legal marijuana in the U.S. It’s also a bit of a shot across the bow of Taco Bell, which has engineered perfectly excessive stoner snacks without explicitly acknowledging the pothead demographic," Fortune magazine reported.

Fortune reported the meal will include tacos, churros, chicken strips and a drink. It will be available from Jan. 18 to Jan. 25.
