  2. A ship on order at NASSCO will be named by the Navy after the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in honor of her advocacy for women’s rights and gender equality. The ship will be the 8th fleet oiler in the John Lewis class. The 750-foot-long ship will refuel ships at sea. The vessel is being built here in Barrio Logan.
