Man Breaks Into Bank, Uses Microwave To Heat Hot Pocket: Reports
When asked if it was worth it, the man told a reporter, "A Hot Pocket? Hell, yeah."
SAN DIEGO, CA — A San Diego man was arrested early Thursday for breaking into a Wells Fargo bank, but not for the reasons one would expect.
According to several local news reports, the man was homeless and hungry. He told authorities he broke into the bank to use a microwave in the bank's break room to heat up two hot pockets.
NBC San Diego reports police were alerted that a man had broken a window and entered the bank around 3:15 a.m. when a security alarm was activated.

The news outlet reports around six officers surrounded the bank and insisted the man exit.
ABC7 Eyewitness News reports the man was taken into police custody.

According to the report, a journalist on the scene asked the man, "Was it worth it?"
"A Hot Pocket? Hell, yeah," the man replied.
