Man Found Dead In Home In San Diego
Homicide detectives were conducting an investigation.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Family members found a 55-year-old man dead in his home in the O'Farrell neighborhood of San Diego Saturday and police were investigating the death as suspicious.
Relatives made the grim discovery about 1:50 p.m. Saturday in the 6400 block of Madrone Avenue, south of Imperial Avenue, when they entered to check because the man did not show up for work, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Arriving officers noticed the man had visible trauma to his body, police said. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Homicide detectives were conducting an investigation with little known about the circumstances surrounding his death and no suspect description.

Detectives were working to find evidence and witnesses and were looking to the county Medical Examiner's Office to confirm the cause of death.
