Man Killed In Possible Gang-Related Shooting In San Diego

The 19-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was fatally shot over the weekend in San Diego, authorities said.

Officers responded to a shooting around 9:36 a.m. Sunday in the area of 300 Willie James Jones Ave. in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Police found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso, according to the department. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects were two Hispanic male juveniles, both about 5-foot-7 and approximately 140 pounds, according to a preliminary description.

Detectives were investigating the shooting as possibly gang-related.
