Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Spring Valley

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man and woman suspected of pulling a gun on an acquaintance Wednesday and robbing him of several hundred dollars in a neighborhood near Dictionary Hill County Preserve were arrested hours later at a gaming resort east of El Cajon, authorities said.

The alleged holdup in the 8700 block of Campo Road in Spring Valley was reported shortly before 7 a.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

Acting on information provided by the victim, deputies tracked down the suspected robbers at Sycuan Casino in the Dehesa area and took them into custody without incident at about 8:45 a.m., sheriff's Lt. Patrick Fox said.

The suspects' identities and details on the nature of their relationship with the victim were not immediately available.
