Man Stabbed, Bludgeoned At Old Town Transit Center
Paramedics took the 27-year-old victim to a hospital.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A dispute involving three men at the Old Town Transit Center Thursday escalated into an assault that left one of them injured and the others under arrest, authorities reported.
The fracas at the depot in the 4000 block of Taylor Street erupted at 8:45 a.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.
"During the altercation, one of the (men) stabbed the victim twice in the upper body with a knife," SDPD Officer David O'Brien said. "Another ... struck the victim once in the head with a rock."

Officers responding to the disturbance took the suspects into custody near the transit station. The arrestees' names were not immediately available.
Paramedics took the 27-year-old victim to a hospital for treatment of apparently non-life-threatening injuries, O'Brien said.
