Man Suspected Of Stabbing Wife, Assaulting Child In San Diego's South Bay
Enos Perez, 49, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence and child abuse.

IMPERIAL BEACH, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing his wife during an argument and assaulting his child at a house in Imperial Beach, authorities said Wednesday.
Deputies responded around 10 p.m. Tuesday to a home in the 500 block of Fifth Street after a 16-year-old reported that their father had stabbed their mother, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.
The man, identified as Enos Perez, 49, and his wife were in a fight leading up to the stabbing, when the wife suffered a head laceration, according to the sheriff's office. Authorities said Perez also assaulted one of his children before fleeing.

Perez was later found and arrested without incident in National City. He was booked into jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence and child abuse.
The 36-year-old woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, while the teen was treated and released at the scene, according to the sheriff's office. Perez was also taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
