Motorcycle Rider Killed In Head-On Crash In San Diego

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 32-year-old man was killed Sunday evening in a head-on crash with an SUV in San Diego.

The crash was reported at 8:35 p.m. on San Pasqual Valley Road (SR-78) and Cloverdale Road, San Diego Police Department Officer John Buttle told City News Service.

The motorcycle was eastbound on San Pasqual Valley Road when it moved into westbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Equinox, Buttle said.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. A description of the rider was not immediately available.

San Pasqual Valley Road was shut down in both directions for an investigation, Buttle said.
