Motorcyclists Who Died In 2 San Diego-Area Crashes Identified
The men died over the last three days in San Diego-area motorcycle crashes.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities Monday publicly identified two men who died over the last three days in San Diego-area motorcycle crashes.
The first of the two deadly accidents occurred shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday, when a two-wheeler being ridden by 30-year-old Karl Trayvilla of Carlsbad struck another southbound motorcycle on South Coast Highway in Oceanside, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
Trayvilla tumbled onto the roadway near West Street and was run over by an oncoming vehicle, the agency reported. Paramedics took him to Tri-City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The second fatality took place just before 12:30 a.m. Monday, when a car rear-ended a motorcycle at high speed on eastbound state Route 94, near College Avenue in Lemon Grove.
The rider of the two-wheeler, 47-year-old John Nealis of El Cajon, was ejected onto the freeway and died at the scene, according to the medical examiner.
