  1. If your January 2020 natural gas bill was $105, your bill is now more than $225. The question everyone is asking is: If prices are dropping nationally, why are our current prices so high? According to SDGE, the cold weather, delivery costs, and the lack of infrastructure are part of the problem. Contracts for natural gas were purchased at a set price which is now higher than the going rate. However, prices are expected to drop in the coming months. (CBS News 8)
  2. A sea-bluff collapsed at Black’s Beach in Torrey Pines on Friday. According to the SDFD, there was no reports of injuries. Residents and visitors have been asked to avoid the ‘The La Jolla Trail,’ as well as the beach area. Authorities are investigating the collapse which was most likely a result of the recent storms.
