Shots Fired During Dispute Between Neighbors
Several people were detained, but deputies arrested only one suspect in the shooting, according to the sheriff's office.

JAMUL, CA — A dispute between neighbors led to shots fired over the weekend in San Diego County, authorities said.
Deputies responded at 3:07 p.m. Sunday to reports of a suspect shooting a firearm during a dispute between neighbors at a home in the unincorporated community of Jamul, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. No one was injured but a residence was struck by gunfire.
Several people were detained, but deputies arrested only Daniel Ames, 45, in the shooting, according to the sheriff's office. Ames was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of an unrelated felony warrant and a felony charge of shooting at an inhabited dwelling.
