New Yard House Coming To San Diego County

CHULA VISTA, CA — Yard House is opening a new location in San Diego County.

The popular restaurant chain is slated to open its doors Sept. 28 in Chula Vista. Yard House is known for its diverse food menu and extensive beer selection.

Jason Carr, general manager of Yard House in Chula Vista, said the restaurant chain has strong roots in Southern California.

"We're thrilled to bring our world-class beers, globally inspired menu and unbeatable atmosphere to the Chula Vista community," Carr told Patch. "This opening marks our third restaurant in the San Diego area, and we can't wait to welcome guests in."

Founded in 1996 in Long Beach, Yard House has more than 90 restaurants across the country.

The newest San Diego area restaurant is located in Otay Ranch Town Center. Yard House also has locations at The Shoppes at Carlsbad and Mission Valley Mall.

Each restaurant is centered around its expansive bar, and the Chula Vista location is no exception.

The 9,160-square-foot eatery offers 90 unique taps, featuring American craft and imported beers, as well as local and regional pours that are hand-picked by the restaurant's management team. The menu boasts more than 80 unique dishes, featuring twists on American and global favorites, including burgers, Nashville hot chicken, poke nachos and tacos.

Yard House Chula Vista will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily for lunch, dinner and late-night gatherings. The restaurant will also offer happy hour from 3-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with half-price appetizers and $1-$4 off beer, wine and cocktails.

The new location is at 2015 Birch Road, Suite 803, in Chula Vista.
