Elmo's Springtacular To Bring The Octonauts, Springtime Fun To Sesame Place San Diego

CHULA VISTA, CA — Sesame Place San Diego is bursting into full bloom this season with the return of Elmo's Springtacular.

The springtime event will run on select dates through May 18 at the Chula Vista-based theme park.

Elmo's Springtacular, which is included with park admission, will feature chalk art, a nature-themed scavenger hunt, and a special spring-themed story time.

As part of the fun, The Octonauts will make their first-ever appearance at the park on May 3 and 4. Captain Barnacles and Kwazii of The Octonauts will be available for special meet and greets. Families can also sign up for The Octonauts VIP Dine at the Sunny Day Café.

Sesame Place San Diego is the only theme park on the West Coast based entirely on the award-winning children's show. The 17-acre theme park features 18 Sesame Street-themed rides and water attractions, including a family-friendly rollercoaster and a 500,000-gallon wave pool, which is one of the largest in Southern California. Water attractions will reopen later this spring as the weather warms up. The park also offers an interactive Sesame Street neighborhood, daily live character shows, musical play area, parade and photo opportunities.
