  1. They consider themselves📜"hers-torians." Their goal is to use STEM to uncover the past. “We are females of color, women of color, who are trying to truly uphold the truth of what our ancestors actually went through,” said Trinity Ansley. In total, there are 16 girls in “Our Genetic Legacy.” The girls aged 14 – 17 years of age will create a plan to open a museum next year. “So we have an operations team, marketing, and finance team,” said Shelly Baxter, founder of Our Genetic Legacy. “So, we're teaching the fundamentals of business and startup."   2. Want to take your pup🐕to the park? Now, there are two new dog parks in San Diego. The new parks have off-leash areas with separate fencing for large and small dogs, and space for dogs to run around and exercise. The parks are open from dawn or dusk.   3. It’s a great deal! On Sept. 3, more than 3,000 theaters📽️will offer $3 movie tickets on “National Cinema Day.” AMC and Regal Cinemas are participating. The purpose is to lure moviegoers back to the theaters. If successful, National Cinema Day could prompt moviegoers to come back to theaters this fall.
