Pedestrian Killed On Ronald Packard Parkway In Escondido
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.

ESCONDIDO, CA — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed Sunday evening in Escondido.
The fatal crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 9:22 p.m and occurred on the eastbound Ronald Packard (78) Parkway east of Centre City Parkway.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
All eastbound lanes were shut down for the investigation, and traffic was diverted off at Centre City Parkway.
