Person Taken To Hospital After Collision In Clairemont Mesa East

SAN DIEGO, CA — One person was taken to a hospital Saturday after being extricated from a vehicle collision in the Clairemont Mesa East neighborhood, authorities said.

The collision was reported at 8:40 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Limerick Avenue and Acuna Street, with a crew arriving four minutes later, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

One of the vehicles was parked at the time of the collision, the department said. A total of 19 personnel assisted in the vehicle rescue.
