SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities were investigating a woman's suspicious death at her San Diego home.

Jadeline Laurent, 28, was found dead shortly before 9 p.m. Monday at a home in the 4300 block of Euclid Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department. There were "no obvious signs of trauma," so the department's Homicide Unit was not contacted, Lt. Jonathan Dungan said.

On Tuesday, investigators learned Laurent was involved in an altercation prior to her death, Dungan said. Homicide detectives were working with the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause and manner of her death.
