SAN DIEGO, CA — A new Monster Jam truck is on the scene and made its debut in San Diego.
Classroom Crusher, the all-new 2025 season truck that's too cool for school and loves to break the rules, raced into San Diego last weekend to kick off the Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series East at Snapdragon Stadium.
The motorsports event tour is in town for a second weekend, so San Diego fans still have a chance to see the action Saturday and Sunday.

"It is an absolute honor to be a part of Monster Jam. To debut a truck is a whole other honor," Classroom Crusher driver Camden Murphy told Patch.
"So far, the reactions to Classroom Crusher have been incredible," Murphy said. "Seeing a school bus come to life as a 12,000-pound, 1500 HP Monster Jam truck and seeing it soar through the sky is going to be amazing."

Murphy, 28, has been racing racing for 19 years. He started his professional racing career in NASCAR in 2014, and joined Monster Jam in 2017.
"It started out as a hobby, but I found myself with a few opportunities to race in NASCAR in 2014, so I did a crowdfunding campaign to fund my first race. From there, I continued to look for other opportunities to drive something for a living," he said.
Murphy went to Monster Jam University in 2016 and then joined the tour in 2017.
"It is a feeling unlike any other," Murphy said. "If you told 5-year-old Camden that he was going to be a Monster Jam driver on the same stage — competing against some of those same drivers I was watching then — I would tell you that you were crazy! It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. Knowing that I am doing something cool enough to get 50,000-plus Monster Jam fans on their feet is insane."

Monster Jam features 12 athletes and their 12,000-pound monster trucks tearing up the dirt in wide-open competitions of speed and skill.
For the Stadium Championship Series East, the fun begins at the Monster Jam Pit Party fan experience held before each event. Fans can see the trucks up close, meet their favorite drivers and crews, and get autographs and take pictures.
"I enjoy traveling, but most importantly, I enjoy creating memories that last forever," Murphy said. "I remember going to Monster Jam as a kid and all of those little things that the drivers did that made an impact in my life. Whether it was the high-five or them coming down to my level, those moments meant so much to me, and I try to replicate that to this day."
During the series, drivers show off their skills and stunts in freestyle, skills and racing competitions. Drivers battle it out for the Stadium Championship Series East title and a coveted spot in the Monster Jam World Finals during Fourth of July weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah.
"If you have never been to Monster Jam before, you are missing out," Murphy said. "Once
you go one time, you will be hooked. Who doesn't want to see these massive trucks jump 50 feet in the air, do backflips, and get wild and crazy? It is fun for the entire family that is truly larger than life and will become a yearly thing. I can promise you that!"

The remaining San Diego events are scheduled at 5 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Snapdragon Stadium located at 2101 Stadium Way in San Diego. The pit party takes place from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
