1. Are you a foodie? If so, San Diego has a deal for you!🥘 It’s Restaurant Week in San Diego, and it’s your chance to enjoy a delicious meal at a great price. You can visit more than 100 local eateries around town. With a variety of prix fixe menus, you can dine in style while helping a local small business. There are two-course lunches and three-course dinners available. Choose a casual or a 5-star restaurant. Check out the list of participating restaurants and make a reservation today. 2. 🍗San Diego needs to get serious about collecting food waste. The State of California mandate requires that we do so. If we don’t act soon, we will face penalties for noncompliance. The City’s solution is to change a century-old law that prohibits it from charging most single-family homeowners for any kind of waste removal. In November there will be a new option on the ballot called Measure B. It would enable the City to charge for sanitation pickup. Will voters approve the measure? (Voice of San Diego)
3. They looked at ordinary items in unusual ways and came up with fun and innovative methods of seeing things.〰️🔆➿ The exhibit called "Toying with Design" is currently on view at the Mingei Museum in Balboa Park.
