Sammy's Celebrates Valentine's Day With Popular Heart-Shaped Pizza Kits

SAN DIEGO, CA — Sammy's is celebrating Valentine's Day with heart-shaped pizzas.

The restaurant chain's popular gourmet to-go pizza kits are back and helping couples, friends and families spread the love this holiday in the kitchen.

"Valentine Pizza Kits have been a tradition at Sammy's for many, many years," Chef Alfie Szeprethy told Patch. "They are very popular — so much fun for either a date-night at home or an experience for the whole family. It's the perfect way to celebrate in!"

Pizza kits are available through Feb. 28 at all four San Diego area locations. Sammy's is located in La Jolla, San Marcos, Scripps Ranch and inside Seven Mile Casino in Chula Vista.

Pizza kits start at $14. Each kit includes any Sammy's pizza with heart-shaped dough and all ingredients, along with baking instructions.

Customers can enter to win a $250 gift card by sharing their masterpiece on social media and tagging @sammyswpizza.
