San Diegans Get First Taste Of New Jersey Mike's Sub

SAN DIEGO, CA — San Diegans are among the first to get a taste of a new sub now available at Jersey Mike's Subs.

San Diego was selected as one of four test markets to try Mike's Hot Italian sub, which hit 66 restaurants in the San Diego area Monday. The new sub is loaded with ham, salami and pepperoni, and covered in melted provolone. Mike's Hot Italian is topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and Jersey Mike's signature hot chopped pepper relish.

Chicago, Minneapolis and Salt Lake City were also selected as test markets for the new sub.
