San Diego Gas Prices Drop To $5.73, Lowest Amount Since March 10
San Diego County continues to see some relief at the gas pump after 38 consecutive days of price drops.

SAN DIEGO, CA — The average price for a gallon of regular gas fell to $5.73 in San Diego Saturday, the lowest price it's been since March 10.
Saturday marks the 38th consecutive day of price drops at the pump, down 18 cents from just a week ago, according to AAA.
The average price has decreased 64.8 cents during the streak, including 2.4 cents Friday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The streak of decreases follows a run of 19 increases in 20 days totaling 35.5 cents.

"A few stations in Los Angeles and San Diego counties have already dropped their prices below $5 a gallon, and we would expect more stations will join them provided current trends continue," said Doug Shupe, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager.
San Diego County's average price hovers just above California, where the average price for a gallon of gas was $5.75 Saturday. The national average sat at $4.38 Saturday.
