San Diego Police Investigate Suspicious Death

Police said the young man's body was found at an apartment complex at 4200 52nd Street​.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Police in San Diego are investigating the death of a young man found with "apparent trauma" in an apartment complex at 4200 52nd Street.

In a release, San Diego police said the death was reported at 6:30 a.m. on Monday by an apartment resident who found the body while on a walk.

Police said the male was found with apparent trauma and is believed to be between 16- and 20-years-old. He's described by authorities as "dark-skinned, possibly Hispanic."

According to the release, the death appeared to be suspicious, possibly a suicide. San Diego Police Homicide Unit was called to the scene to investigate.
