SD Authorities Seek Suspect In Shooting of Man Found In Aqueduct

The victim was hospitalized but is expected to survive, authorities said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities are seeking the shooter of a man found with gunshot wounds Wednesday in an aqueduct in the Fairmount Park area of San Diego.

Officers with the San Diego Police Department found the 35-year-old victim near the Home Avenue exit of state Route 94 at around 3:50 a.m. Wednesday. He was hospitalized but is expected to survive, authorities said.

The California Highway Patrol was investigating the shooting and is looking for a suspect described as a slender-built man in a gray hoodie. He was last seen on a yellow bike, according to the CHP.
