Here are three of the top stories in San Diego today:

1. It's☀️hot, hot, hot! Everyone here in San Diego is looking for relief. The air is thick, and it's hard to breathe. “Today completely took me by surprise,” said Christina Williams, a visitor to San Diego. “I should have put on shorts, and a tank top,” added Williams, who was watching her two toddlers play in the splash pads in front of the San Diego County Administration Center. “I should have had my babies in their swimsuits.” Dressing appropriately is one of the ways to keep cool. 2. This is your opportunity to give to a cause you care about. It is the 2nd Annual San Diego Gives💰 event on Thursday, Sept. 8. It is a county-wide day-of-givingto local charities. This year, 327 nonprofits signed on to participate. Donors can give to charities that support animals, education, environment, military, humanitarian aid, and many others. To learn more, visit here. 3. It’s going to be awesome! World famous pilots and jet teams will perform at the 2022 MCAS Miramar Air✈️Show. The three-day event will be held on Sept. 23 through Sept. 25. More than 700,000 attendees are expected over the three-day period. Performers will include the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the U.S. Army Golden Knights, the U.S.M.C F-35B Lightning Demo, as well as three U.S.A.F. performances.
