SAN DIEGO — Students attending San Diego City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges as well as the College of Continuing Education now have access to their own personal student email, SDCCD announced in a news release last week.

All students who have yet to do so, should visit the student email website to set up their account, SDCCD said.

"Starting the week of March 27, 2023, all email communication and notices from our colleges will be directed to these new student accounts," SDCCD said. "The new student.sdccd.edu email in Microsoft 365 will be the official form of communication. Students will be expected to check their student.sdccd.edu email account regularly in order to stay current with college communications."

Students should check their email daily as some communications could be time-critical, such as class waitlist activity and communications from professors, SDCCD said.

Students needing assistance setting up their email should call 619-388-1140, the college district said.

"Having a student email account also means you can take advantage of student discounts available through various companies such as Amazon Student Prime, Adobe Creative Cloud for Students, NFL Sunday Ticket, New York Times, etc.," SDCCD said.
