See Smoke? Prescribed Fire Burning In San Diego's North County
Residents and visitors may see smoke from either side of Palomar Mountain, state Route 76, state Route 79 and surrounding communities.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Crews are conducting a prescribed burn Wednesday in Cleveland National Forest in northern San Diego County.
The prescribed fire is taking place on Palomar Divide Road near High Point Lookout and Deer Flat, according to officials with Cleveland National Forest.
Officials advised that residents and visitors may see smoke from either side of Palomar Mountain, state Route 76, state Route 79 and surrounding communities. Residents reported seeing smoke from as far away as Temecula.
