Sesame Place San Diego To Kick Off First-Ever Mardi Gras Celebration

CHULA VISTA, CA — Sesame Place San Diego is holding is holding its first-ever Mardi Gras celebration featuring Sesame Street-themed interactive activities, carnival colors and special performances.

The family-friendly event will run on select dates from Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, March 9 at the Chula Vista-based theme park.

Highlights of the Mardi Gras celebration include the Sesame Street Mardi Gras Cavalcade, a Mardi Gras Mask Scavenger Hunt, and a Mardi Gras-themed Dine with Elmo and Friends. There will also be photo opportunities with Sesame Street characters in Mardi Gras attire.

Although water rides and attractions are closed for the winter season, visitors can also enjoy Sesame Street-themed dry rides and attractions.
