Slight Decrease Extends Streak Of Dropping Gas Prices In San Diego
The decreases follow three increases in four days totaling 2.5 cents.

SAN DIEGO, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped one-tenth of a cent Monday to $4.65, decreasing for the sixth day in a row.
The average price has dropped 3.5 cents over the past six days, including three-tenths of a cent Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The decreases follow three increases in four days totaling 2.5 cents.
The average price is 2.3 cents less than one week ago, 2.7 cents lower than one month ago and 96.9 cents below what it was one year ago. It has dropped $1.785 since rising to a record $6.435 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped for the fifth consecutive day, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $3.175. It has dropped 2.9 cents over the past five days, including six-tenths of a cent Sunday.
The national average price is 2.8 cents less than one week ago, 3.9 cents lower than one month ago and 37.9 cents below what it was one year ago. It has dropped $1.841 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
