How do you know the teacher?

I am her Nana. She lives with me

What does this person teach?

2nd grade

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She has the hardest job. It is a low-income school district without the proper resources. She has as many as 27 or 28 children with many who have special needs. In addition to the special needs there are many non-English speaking. There is one aide available for the elementary school. Frustrating to try to teach with so many disruptions every day

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Her patience and her dedication to the children
