These San Diego Area Schools Are Closed Friday Due To Power Outages
The schools will be closed due to power outages, according to the San Diego County Office of Education.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Some San Diego area schools will remain closed Friday amid critical fire weather conditions.
The San Diego County Office of Education announced that schools in Julian Union Elementary School District, Julian Union High School District, Mountain Empire Unified School District and Warner Unified School District will be closed again Friday due to power outages. The schools were also closed Wednesday and Thursday.
"The safety of students and school staff is of the utmost importance to San Diego County school districts," the County Office of Education said in a statement.

A red flag warning is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday for the county's mountains and valleys.
