Car Flips Over On San Diego Freeway
The incident forced the closure of the left lane on Interstate 5.
SAN DIEGO, CA -- An overturned car briefly blocked a lane of Interstate 5 south of downtown San Diego Monday. The crash happened about 11:30 a.m. on northbound I-5 near state Route 15, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatcher.
The reason for the crash was not immediately clear, but one vehicle flipped over and landed on its roof in the left lane of the freeway.
One person was taken to a hospital, the dispatcher said. The person's condition was not immediately available.
