UPDATED: 2 Trains Derailed Near Coronado Bridge, Road
Two freight trains were derailed at Harbor Drive Tuesday morning, snarling southbound 5 Freeway traffic for the morning commute.

SAN DIEGO, CA- Two freight trains derailed early Tuesday morning -- closing down Cesar Chavez Parkway, an SDPD spokesman said.
According to San Diego police Officer Travis Easter, the derailments occurred at Harbor Drive -- by the Coronado Bridge in Barrio Logan about 3:45 a.m.

Easter told Patch there were no reports of injuries, nor were any hazardous materials spilled.
