  1. Joseph Lewis, who is a developer and served in Operation Desert Storm, is building affordable housing in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of San Diego. “I definitely saw a need because being a homeless veteran myself after I went overseas and served my country in Desert Storm, to come back to be homeless and living in my car, just didn’t make sense, so somebody has to do something, so it might as well be me,” Lewis said.   2. The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency has released the latest COVID-19 statistics. Through March 22, over 93.7 percent of San Diegans have been at least partially vaccinated, over 82.3 percent have been fully vaccinated, and more than 55.5 percent have been boosted.
