Victim Of Fatal Bicycle Crash In Lemon Grove ID'd
A man was fatally injured last weekend when a pickup truck struck him as he was bicycling at night in Lemon Grove.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities Tuesday publicly identified a 35-year-old man who was fatally injured last weekend when a pickup truck struck him as he was bicycling at night in Lemon Grove.
Marco Quintero of San Diego was hit by the black Chevrolet Silverado shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 8500 block of Troy Street, just east of Camino De Las Palmas, according to the county Medical Examiner's Office and Sheriff's Office.
Paramedics took Quintero to Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Neither intoxication nor reckless driving were believed to have been factors in the fatal collision, sheriff's Sgt. William Price said.
