Victims Of Triple-Fatal Ocean Boat Accident ID'd
The boat the men had been traveling in is believed to have capsized offshore from Imperial Beach.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities have publicly identified three men who lost their lives last weekend to a boating accident off the coast of southern San Diego County.
The bodies of Bartolo Baltazar Baltazar and Luis Mazariegos De Leon, both 48, and Hector Gomez Lopez, 50, were discovered in the waters of San Diego Bay near a dock on the grounds of Naval Base Point Loma several hours before sunrise on Saturday, according to the county Medical Examiner's Office.
The boat the men had been traveling in is believed to have capsized offshore from Imperial Beach sometime Friday, the agency reported.

De Leon died of drowning, according to the Medical Examiner's Office, which has not released cause-of-death rulings for the other two men.
The county agency also has not made public where the men lived.
