Man Throws Woman From Three-Story Balcony: Police
Authorities said the victim was thrown from a balcony during a fight with her boyfriend.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A woman died after being thrown from a balcony during a fight with her boyfriend in San Diego, authorities said.
Witnesses reported seeing a man throw a woman from a third-floor balcony at 7:21 p.m. Monday at an apartment complex in the 500 block of West San Ysidro Blvd. in the community of San Ysidro, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Officers found Irene Williams, 61, in the courtyard with severe head trauma and a broken femur, police Lt. Lou Maggi said. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Officers arrested the victim's boyfriend, Albert Turner, 57, at the scene.
"Investigators believe the two had been in a dating relationship and had been involved in an altercation inside the apartment earlier in the evening," Maggi said. "At some point, Williams began throwing Turner's belongings over the railing of the balcony corridor. Turner then threw Williams over the railing onto the concrete below."

Turner was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of murder.
