Female Rescued, Male Still Missing At Pier 32: Authorities

Two people fell in the water Saturday night at Pier 32, authorities said.

SAN FRANCISCO — One person was rescued and another was still missing after the pair fell in the water Saturday night at Pier 32, authorities said.

Firefighters and police officers responded around 10:20 p.m. to the pier, where they rescued a female and took her to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to authorities.

Emergency personnel remained on the scene to continue searching for the remaining victim, a male, using boats, thermal cameras, drones and flood lights, officials said. The search was ongoing as of 9:45 a.m. Sunday, according to police.
